What is the Chula Vista Rose Festival?
This year, St. Rose of Lima is opening its doors to bring in even more people from around Chula Vista and San Diego. Bob McAllister, parishioner and a former mayor of Chula Vista, will be our first Grand Marshal for the event.
When and where will the festival take place?
The Chula Vista Rose Festival will be held on August 28, 29, and 30 and on our parish grounds. The hours of operation are: Friday Night (8/28): 5:30pm – 10:30pm Saturday Night (8/29): 5:30pm – 10:30pm Sunday (8/30): 7:30am – 3:30pm
Will we still have our St. Rose of Lima Feast Day or our Parish Ministry Fair?
Yes! In fact, the parish committee decided to combine these two great events held on different days within the Chula Vista Rose Festival. We figured that that total number of hours to set up and break down would be reduced if we were to make the events part of a one weekend experience.
